The word wedding is the synonym to a ritual, mystery and symbolism. And the most important thing for a bride this day is a wedding gown. Brides are continually looking for ways to make every aspect of their wedding day a true reflection of their personality. Every wife to be tries to find a wedding dress with the modernity or sophistication she wants. As color is becoming an increasingly popular addition to the wedding dress, brides are finding it an easy way to further express themselves and make their wedding dress unique.

People’s imagination has no limits. Let’s make sure of it. Cocoon styled wedding dress is number one in our chart. It's a wedding gown designed by Yves St Laurent in 1965 and inspired by Russian Babushka dolls. This dress is handmade. A figure of the Bride emerges from a Russian doll, wearing a knitted poncho and headpiece based on St Laurent's original design. His future wife was really proud that she wouldn’t look like other brides.

She looks like a swan, it’s amazing. It’s made by Christian Dior in 2007 for Spring/Summer Couture Collection and the name of this posh gown is Origami Dress.

Do you like peacocks? And so do I. But I’ve never thought that peacocks feathers can be used to realize somebody’s wedding dream. Wedding dress from the artificial peacock feathers was made in China. Its price is $ 1.5 Million and it’s made from 2009 peacock feathers. 8 workers and 40 days needed to sew it.

Thousands and thousands weddings take place every hour all over the world and all of them begin usually with the same words but in different languages: “voulez-vous m'epouser?”, “vorresti sposarmi?”, “queres casar comigo?”, “te quieres casar conmigo?”, “vil du gifte dig med mig?”, “Θα με παντρεψετε”, “будешь ли ты моей женой?”, “wil je met me trouwen?”, “هل الزواج مني”, “wyjdziesz za mnie”, “תתחתני איתי”. As you have already guessed these words are “Will you marry me?”. We can cure ourselves from different illnesses with the help of medicines, but the only remedy for loneliness, despair and hopelessness is LOVE. There are many people in the world, who suffer from hunger, but there are much more people, who die from the lack of love. Wedding is a special day for every person, it’s a day when you both give birth to a new cell of society, to a new family. This event we can by right call the second important day of your life after the fact of birth.

The word wedding comes from the root meaning to gamble or wager. The Anglo-Saxon word "wedd" meant that the groom would vow to marry the woman, but it also meant the money or barter that the groom paid the bride's father. Wedding itself is a kind of ritual, a kind of tradition.

So, when you hear words that are mentioned above, I mean the proposal, lots of different thoughts appear in your head… if you agreed, you would get next portion of reflections, like: “What dress to wear?” (cut, color, length etc.), “Whom to invite?” (list of guests, invitations etc.), “Where to celebrate” (restaurant, hotel, at the sea, on the nature etc.), “How to decorate the celebration room/place?” (colors, tints, bouquets, balloons etc.), “How to deliver guests and what car to choose for impressive coming up?” (cars or other kind of transport). Too many thoughts and your head is about to blow up. But you should remember that you are to pass all this way to realize the dream of you childhood, to wear this tiny, little white dress and to hear the priest’s words: “"Do you, (your name), take (his/her name), to be your (wife/husband)?". After positive answer to this simple question two human loves will make one divine.

You can see that wedding preparation is not as easy as to say “Yes, I will”. Not always wedding preparation, I mean searching for the right answers to the listed above questions, brings much fun. Well, of course, I mean everything except wedding gown, bridal veil, shoes, make-up, manicure and hair do.
